We are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit grass-roots organization that started in November 2004 to advocate and empower participation in our democracy, and to hold government accountable. We hope that you’ll eventually find an area, issue, or activity where you’ll want to contribute some time and energy. Attend our next meeting to find out more. Bookmark this blog to stay in touch, see our monthly newsletters, read announcements about meetings or actions that the group is taking, and find news and links about the issues that concern us.
You do not have to be a member to attend our meetings. In fact, we encourage all to attend; it’s a good way to find out more about the organization.
Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Russell Chatham Room at the Livingston Public Library, unless otherwise announced. Use the 3rd Street entrance. Meetings usually include a guest speaker or presentation on key issues and topics. The Meetings category on this blog contains the latest information about upcoming meetings.
