Montana Women For continues it’s “Peace and Justice Film Series” this Friday with two films. “Gitmo” and “Dissent” will be screened at 7 pm at the Library. A discussion led by Jim and Heidi Barrett will follow the films. There is no charge for this event, but donations will be accepted to offset expenses.

“Gitmo” is a jolting film which won two international film festival awards and focuses on the “New Rules of War.” The film goes around the globe to pierce the veil of secrecy surrounding the Guantanamo detention center, what has happened to the people who have been incarcerated there and released and raises questions about those remaining in custody.

“Dissent” is a historical film produced by the ACLU laying out key moments in dissent in recent American history. For further information, please visit www.montanawomenfor.org <http://www.montanawomenfor.org>
