Meeting February 7th at 6:30pm

Please attend our monthly meeting at the Livingston Public Library at 6:30 pm tomorrow night in the Russell Chatam room. The public is welcome.

We will be electing our board members, and then Gabe Furshong, the man who spearheaded the movement across Montana to pass city resolutions demanding the return of our troops from Iraq, will speak to us about how to do the same thing in Livingston. And our own Margarita McLarity, who worked hard to pass the resolution through the city council in Bozeman, will fill us in on how it was done there, and the obstacles that were encountered.

This should be a lively discussion and all points of view are welcomed.

Coffee, cookies, company and good cheer will be offered to all comers.

One Response to Meeting February 7th at 6:30pm

  1. TJ says:

What a great gathering tonight at the library. Gabe Furshong was deliberate and concise in his presentation. He was very organized in how he made his case as to the reasoning behind his movement across Montana to encourage cities and towns to get behind the eight ball and demand our troops come home from Iraq. This war is financially impacting every community across America. You cannot spend billions and billions of dollars on a war and not have the impact of that expenditure come home to roost.

There is a wonderful dialog about to unfold in Livingston…stay tuned!
